I was very sorry to hear about Dr. Stringer. He was one of the doctors who operated on my mother when she had ovarian cancer. Because of them she was able to live longer than expected. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time.

My husband, LW, and myself are better people for having been touched by buzz. He is a gentle giant and will forever be in our hearts. He and his wife Marty brought joy and a smile to us and our little community in daytona beach. He will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

Marty, Chip, Susan, and Chris, You have no idea what a shocker it was to see the announcement of Buz's passing in the paper this morning, it was totally unexpected. Susie and I just wanted to express our condolences, and tell you how much Buz meant to us even though we have not seen him in a while. I don't think we have ever had the pleasure to meet someone as caring, considerate, and a true friend as Buz, and we will surely miss him. I know words can't say enough, but know you are all in our hearts and prayers and that we loved Buz like a brother and will cherish his memory forever. If there is anything we can do please do not hesitate to call us. Your friends, Rick and Susie Doyle

Dr Stringer was a wonderful ambassador and advocate for his patients and the Memorial Health system. It was truly a pleasure to work with him over the last few years in his role as Medical Director at Memorial. May his family find strength in the legacy he left and the many lives he touched over his years of practicing medicine.
